Lando Norris becomes co-owner of junior team LN4 Fusion

The project was announced on 2 September 2026 with the stated aim of helping young drivers make their way to Formula 1.

The initiative has two linked parts. LN4 Fusion will run cars in junior categories, while a separate but complementary driver development programme, LN4 Legacy, is designed to identify talent from karting upwards and provide support in coaching, performance, career management and funding.

The exact championships on the team's calendar have not been confirmed. Reports suggest the team will compete in the Italian F4 Championship, FRECA and Formula 3; another account says it will race in multiple championships in 2027, with Formula 3 and Formula 2 mentioned. No official statement has settled which series LN4 Fusion will enter or when it will first race.

Norris is reported to have made a personal financial commitment alongside an outside investment group. Reports describe this as the first time a Formula 1 champion has directly backed a team in the modern junior single-seater era.
