What Roberto De Zerbi has said
Ank kumar · CC BY-SA 4.0Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has said Sávio will bring "imagination and quality" to the squad. The comment points to the role the Brazilian is expected to play in an attack that will need creativity in the final third.
The fee explained
Tottenham have paid an initial £75m for the winger, with a further £10m available through add-ons. The conditions attached to those add-ons have not been disclosed.
Why the move matters
At 22, Sávio is a young forward who can be developed over several seasons. The size of the fee shows how highly Tottenham rate him and suggests he is expected to be a significant part of De Zerbi's plans.

What is not yet known
Tottenham have not announced the length of Sávio's contract or his squad number. They have also not said when he will be available for selection, and no debut date has been set.
