About Sportsback
Sportsback is a global sports publication covering football, basketball, Formula 1, tennis and more, in five languages.
Sportsback reports on sport by combining journalism with a structured information layer: every story is connected to the players, teams, competitions and events it concerns, and those connections drive the entity pages, statistics and cards you see across the site.
Stories are assembled from multiple sources rather than rewritten from a single report. Where sources disagree, we say so. Where something is reported rather than confirmed, we label it as reported.
How this site is produced
Much of the Sportsback newsroom is automated. Stories are discovered from news sources and official channels, clustered by the real-world event they describe, checked against the evidence gathered for that event, and published under editorial policies set by people.
Automation does not change what we owe readers. Every story lists the sources it was built from, carries a publication date, and is corrected when it is wrong.
